TouchPoint Giving Changes

This week Parkside Church Lake County (soon to be Shoreline Church) is transitioning to TouchPoint, our new church database system, for online giving. As of February 14th we will no longer process our online giving through GivingFire, and all recurring payments set up through GivingFire will be shut down. Also, on the 14th the link to online giving on our website and app will change to TouchPoint. 

While our online giving won't officially change over to TouchPoint until the 14th, you can start giving online through TouchPoint right now if you would like to do so. However, you may not see your Giving history on TouchPoint until the 14th. Listed below are the steps to take to set up One Time or Recurring Giving using TouchPoint. 


Steps for Giving through TouchPoint:

For a One Time Gift:

  • Click on and bookmark this link: https://parksidelake.tpsdb.com/OnlineReg/77
  • On the new page, ignore the button that says “Login Here.”
  • Enter your personal information and click Submit.
  • Enter the amount to your desired fund and click Submit.
  • Finally, enter the appropriate information in the Payment Processing screen and click Submit.
  • If you make a One Time Gift you will receive an email confirming your gift.

For a Recurring Gift:
You will first need to cancel your recurring gift on GivingFire by February 14th, 2019 (After the 14th all recurring gifts on GivingFire will be shut down). Here are instructions on how to do so:

Once you have canceled your recurring gift on GivingFire you can create a new recurring gift on TouchPoint. Here are instructions on how to do so:

  • Click on and bookmark this link: https://parksidelake.tpsdb.com/OnlineReg/78
  • On the new page, ignore the button that says “Login Here.”
  • Enter your personal information.
  • Click Submit. You will receive an email from Mark Gifford confirming your account setup. Note: This email may get filtered into your Spam folder.
  • Click on the link in the email. You will be directed to the Manage Recurring Giving page.
  • Fill out the form with your information and payment details. Please Note: In the "Repeats" section you can change the date on which you would like the payment to be taken out each month by clicking on the date highlighted in blue. 

Tip: If you are setting up payment by electronic check, make sure to have your account number and routing number handy.

  • Click SubmitYou’ll receive a confirmation email from showing the transaction details.
